Why This Synesthetic Approach Matters: systems change leaders and social innovators need community

Discover: Every conversation along our path can be a portal to a new facet of ourselves. Every step offers a chance to reframe our perception of society and reimagine the possibilities. We will explore how global issues transform when viewed through a kaleidoscope of senses.

We will unlock new pathways to change by blending multi-sensory experiences with systems thinking.

We will deepen our understanding of systems change interdependence via the microcosms of ecological interdependence.

New possibilities await. Will you join us in exploring  the vibrant, textured, melodious landscape of systems change?

As we walk, observe, and discuss, we'll discover how engaging all our senses can unlock new pathways to systems-level change. Our journey will be a living metaphor for the interconnected nature of global systems, with each step revealing new insights,

The  park's food web connects native plants to insects to birds in an intricate dance of interdependence .

As we take a mindful walk past the Hoover Redwood Grove, our pace syncing with the park's rhythms, we'll have context of coastal redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) and mycorrhizal fungi forming symbiotic relationships, enhancing drought resistance and supporting new seedlings - a powerful metaphor for building resilient communities and nurturing emerging social innovations. We’re journey past lichens, a symbiotic partnership between fungi and algae or cyanobacteria, we'll explore how different entities with distinct strengths can cooperate to create resilient structures in society.   At the Bison Paddock, we will have awareness of how bison and birds form mutually beneficial relationships, reflecting how diverse stakeholders in a system can create value through their interactions.

Sensory Exploration: Discover how conversations about global issues flow differently when immersed in nature's symphony.

Innovative Thinking: Explore how engaging all our senses can unlock new pathways to systemic change.

Collaborative Insights: Learn to translate multi-sensory experiences into innovative, collaborative  approaches to systems change. Embark on this unique expedition to reimagine what's possible
